Anniversary

Yes...It is so hard to believe that March 11th was our 3 year wedding anniversary!  I tell you....time really flies by when your having fun.  We had a very low key, but wonderful anniversary.  My amazing hubby sent me flowers to school and then we went and ate at Carrabbas that night.

As I reflect on this last year of marriage a lot has happened, but I can definitely see God's hands in it all!  First of all, Kody and I went to California last March to visit our friend Teresa. Had an amazing time.  After a short time of looking, we found our dream home and moved into it in May.  We became an Aunt and Uncle for the 2nd time!  Kody started working at a new office closer to home and is loving it.  Kody finally graduated in August, after 8 long years and became Dr. Brooks!  In September, the Lord opened up many doors for us to serve within our church.  Kody now leads music for our youth on Wednesday nights.  I attend Wednesday night youth to support Kody's ministry and have really enjoyed meeting the youth and some of the other youth leaders.  Kody plays the keyboard and sings in our church worship band on Sunday mornings and has even had the opportunity to lead.  God is good and our lives have been blessed!  God is teaching us more and more everyday!  We are just so thankful for this time in our lives right now and for all of the opportunities He has given us to share His love with others.  Our prayer right now is that we will be obedient to His commands and know that He will not lead us astray.

We are so very proud of you. All of your accomplishments are amazing but your service to our Lord is incredible! I love watching Him old you and you love being in His service.

We look forward to watching you grow and blossom in the Lord.

What an amazing year you have shared together. May it be the first of many. Always keep your eyes on Jesus and your hearts open to His leadership. You are right...He will never lead you astray, but always in the paths of righteousness.

Love you both so much,
Mom

Oops! The misspelled word in my comment should have been "watching Him 'mold' you...".

Sorry.
