Maui day 7

Today was our last day on Maui. We were sad to leave, but excited to get home to see our friends and family. Today was the first day that we slept in. We slept till a little after 8:00 and then went down to the restrauant in our hotel and had a big breakfast. We then went walking on the beach for one last time. After saying goodbye to the water and beach, we went to our room and packed up. We had to check out by noon, but our flight didn't leave till 7:00, so we headed to front street to do some shopping and get one last Hawaiian shaved ice, or what we like to call a snow cone. It was the best snow cone I have ever had and the largest too! Around 4:00 we headed to the airport. Our flight left from Maui at 7:00 and we landed in Honolulu around 7:36, just in time for us to catch our flight to Houston that started boarding around 8:05. We sadly left Maui around 9:00 p.m and landed in Houston at 9:30 a.m. I was really wishing we had first class seats on the way home, because it was impossible to get comfortable enough to sleep. Needless to say we were tired when we got home and took a long nap. This was by far my favorite vacation that Kody and I have taken together and we are already trying to figure out when we can go back! I'm sure it will be many, many years down the road though!
