So, the night before Valentine's Day, I decided to get "crafty" and make Addie a Valentine outfit. It was kinda spontaneous, so I grabbed what I had, which happened to be a white onesie, some permanent markers and glitter glue. I thought it was pretty cute for last minute, but apparently Addie wanted to add her own touch to it by dripping her milk all over it that morning and making the letters smear or "bleed". And of course this happened before I was able to get a picture of her in it! Oh well. She still looked cute! The afternoon turned out to be gorgeous, so we headed outside so that I could get some pictures of her. She had so much fun crawling around on the drive way and I was really impressed with how well she was standing by herself. I was able to get some really cute "standing" pictures!
Our Valentine's day was pretty low key. We had celebrated V-day on Saturday when Kody's dad came to watch Addie and we went to Carrabbas and to a movie! It was so nice having a date night! Thanks Pappy for watching Addie! On V-day, I had a dentist appointment earlier that day and had to get two fillings fixed. Yay for no cavities! It had been a long time since I had been to the dentist so I was super happy about that! So, I spent the rest of the day with a numb mouth. No fun at all!!! I then surprised Kody by making one of his favorite meals: meat loaf, green beans, and mashed potatoes!
Here are some sweet pictures of our sweet Valentine!
