Hey gang,
I just wanted to inform you about Corby's status. We had to be there this morning (Thursday) at 7 am and they she began her surgery at 8:30 am-9:30 am. They prepped her with the IV and stuff between 7 and 8:30 am. The surgery went really well. We got to see pictures of the surgery. I didn't post those for the sake of your stomachs!!!! Now is just a waiting game of recovery. Dr. said she can put weight on it as soon as she can and to keep it straight. The recovery time climaxes at 6 weeks which they call the "danger time" because people usually feel good at 6 weeks and they do a bunch of things and hurt their knee again. Just keep her in your prayers as we give her the medications and work through the pain! Love you all and thanks for your prayers!

I am praying that you will have a speedy recovery and that your pain will be at a minimum. The Brooks women are sure having an interesting summer! Hang in there.
I hear Kody is a good nurse. I hope he didn't miss his true calling. I'll see you tonight with a good supper and give your mother-in-law a night off.
