Addison's birthday was the day before Easter, but we had her party on Good Friday so that it would be easier for family to attend. I started preparing for her party months ago. Since it was Easter weekend, I knew I wanted to do an "Easter" theme with pastal colors. I have never really paid attention to Easter decorations before until now and there were some really cute things. Every time I would go to Hobby Lobby, Wal Mart, Target or the Dollar tree I would walk out with something for her party or another idea. I made most of her decorations thanks to Pinterest. I made her birthday banner, banner with her 1-12 month pictures, the over sized pom-poms made out of tissue paper, Addie's birthday hat, her birthday shirt, her cupcakes and her smash cake. I had a lot of fun making everything and saved a lot of money doing it, but boy am I glad that it is over.
Her party was a great success and a lot of family and friends came to celebrate! My friend's parents let us borrow a jump house for the older kids to use which was a big hit! We cooked hot dogs, had an Easter egg hunt, opened presents and ate cake, which Addie loved! We had so much fun celebrating her special day!
