Kody, Corby and Addison: Catching up- Week after birthday!

Catching up on the week that followed Addie turning one!

The day after Addison's birthday was Easter! Last Easter she was only 2 weeks old, so we celebrated at home so it was fun getting all dressed up and going to church as a family to celebrate our Risen Savior. Addie got this cute dress for her birthday from her Aunt Cassi and Uncle Dustin and it was perfect for her Easter dress.

Kody took off the whole week after Addie's birthday, so we had a fun stay-cation!
Monday, we stayed home and did things around the house.
Tuesday we went to the zoo. Addie wasn't quite in to the zoo so much, but it was still fun!

Wednesday, we went to Brenham to the Blue Bell factory. We had a tour of the factory and then ate some yummy ice cream. Addie loved the ice cream!

Thursday, we packed up and headed to Beaumont. We stayed Thursday night with Kody's parents and had a sweet visit with Kody's grandma that now lives with them. Kody's sweet mawmaw broke multiple bones in her back several months ago and has been in and out of the hospital. She now has a sitter that sits with her during the day and moved in with Kody's parents to make it easier on everyone.

Friday, we went by to visit with my mawmaw. About 3 weeks after this visit, my mawmaw fell and broke her hip. Praise God that my dad goes over to her house multiple times a day because he found her on the kitchen floor. She thinks that she was only there for about 30 minutes before my dad got there and called 911. She had surgery a couple of days after that and is doing well. Praise the Lord!

Friday afternoon we headed to my parents house to visit and stay with them!

That night we grilled hot dogs "campfire" style! It was a lot of fun, but is already getting way to hot outside to really enjoy it! It will be great during the cooler months though!
